Never used to be. Sam is still too young to grasp the idea of Christmas but I guarantee he'll know of its origins (and his dad's disbelief in all things God and baby Jesus) in good time. As for cricket, I have to say I'm really enjoying it. More so than I have for a long, long time. I'm playing a higher grade than I ever have against bowlers and batters who astound me at their skill/pace/patience/ability and my game's improved considerably in the last year and a bit. We give birthday gifts, and myself and my sisters have taken it upon ourselves to get Fathers Day gifts as an appreciation for Dad, (to his disgust), but that's just a personal choice, and a convenient day to do it.
