Yesterday arvo, I attended a screening of Superman Returns at Tea Tree Plaza. The movie was alright, but for me, the real win was some information I was able to gain from going. Allow me to explain…

It’s now 6.56am on Friday the 28th of July and I have been awake since 4am. I have no idea why, but at least I have had the time to ponder some of the bigger questions in life…

As you’ve read in previous posts by Grum, he hates. He hates with a style and versatility not seen in today’s youth. It’s just not there.

But apparently stupidity is.

I hate being sick. I also hate nail polish on toes, but that’s a rant for another day. Although I haven’t been diagnosed with pnemonia and pleurisy, I have had them before and I know what it feels like. Here’s a tip: do what you can to avoid them, they’re not fun (despite what the heading says).

Verity. She was the daughter of a close friend who I loved dearly. She was taken far, far to early. Not even given a chance to grow up and be corrupted by the real world.

That’s a direct quote from the great Dave Chappelle, damn funny man. Chapelle’s Show is comedic genius and his upcoming movie, Dave Chapelle’s Block Party is awesome too.

Being in Australia, we might see a cinema release too. It’s not guaranteed though.

At the second bi mon sci fi con on the evening of Sunday, July 2006, myself, Kage, Peej, Gabby-jay, Mr. Smith, G. Reg and the ever-lovely Bill watched Meltdown. If you want to know what it’s all about, have a look here.
