veeer all living in amerika, amerika is vuunderbaaa

I’m still going on about Rammstein. Just leave it a while and I’m sure it will go away. I’ve written the title in a german accent for those who’d like to sing along. Its quite catchy.

For those who are interested in the latest fashion designs from the Loaf Wear Galleries, I’m in the process of designing some new shirts and slogans as well. Here are a couple of the new ones:

– all the loaf you’ll ever need
– snap frozen, sealed in stupidity

I’m in the process of trying to source some local talent to do the shirts for me as I’ve had a few requests of other items of clothing as well. If you know of anyone in the Adelaide area or even in Australia who will ship to me, please let me know.

I’m going to expand into sticker’s and the like as well, there’s some other cool stuff on offer if I can just figure out a way to produce them quickly and easily I can spead the word of the loaf to people far and wide. Also, if people to put a fatloaf sticker wherever they go and take a photo of it, I’m sure it could be a good bit of fun and annoy a hell of a lot more people. After all, thats what its all about.

Well, the weekend just gone was the stunning, action packed conclusion to the Youth Challenge at the Village Bowl. Since I got thoroughly toasted the night before on alcohol I sauntered gracefully into the bowl about 11:00, shortly after my man Shane Tunnah had bowled another 300. Top work, it’s hard enough to bowl one during a tournament, the little smart arse bowled two in two weekends. It makes me sick. What’s worse is he’s only 16. On the serious side though, its a pretty damn fine effort and a congratulations is definitely in order. Not from me though, maybe from someone else. I’ll just give him shit.

If you roll on over to the SATBA site for SA, you can check out the scores for the Youth Challenge. You might notice that Shane also won the master’s as well. Something else to add to his list of achievements for the weekends. Once again the tournament was a whole lot of fun and some new people got exposed to what a tournament can be like, they also got exposed to some of the great double standards that the SATBA has and will no doubt become jaded and cynical about the whole thing in no time flat. Its par for the course really. I might just be speaking about me though, its hard to tell sometimes.

On Saturday night Bill and I had a bit of a BBQ, the first of the season. For those who aren’t aware, the season I’m referring to is the 2004/2005 home and away BBQ Season. There are quite a few held around this time of the year at various locations with a small report about them afterwards. At least one round is incorporated into the Fat and Lazy Camping Tour, a date for which has yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more info.

The BBQ consisted of various meat groups and lots of beer. Lots for me anyway, Bill consumed a minor amount. We covered the basic groups: beef, pork, chicken, fish. We didn’t have any lamb however next time we can make up for it. I think we should expand into game as well but we’ll see how we go. Unfortunately by the time we got to the fish we were full so thats still in my freezer, however what we did have was quite scrumptious indeed. Which is fairly significant since I don’t feel any less masculine for using that word, a minor feat. All in all a good start to the season, we were full, I was drunk, the area smelled of charcoal and it was beautiful weather for it. Lovely.

I’m working on a few rotating header’s on the top of the site over the coming weeks. It will be a random thing so don’t be alarmed if you see it change without warning. I may work on a slightly different layout too, not sure yet. I feel the need to play with it some more, the feeling may go away soon if I rub some cream on it. I can’t be sure.

Time to go.

Scott
