Yes, I can be slack too

well its been a while.. (about two weeks) since my last post and i’ve been feeling a little guilty. When the position to be a part of this site was offered to me i promised to bring regular and large size servings of of random useless information to the avid loafer out there.. recently i have let the loafs of the fat style down.. for this i sincerly apologise..

as mentioned.. two weeks maybe getting closer to three since i posted and i know if it was me in your shoes i’d be out for the blood of my loaf (if loafs bled ofcourse, which they dont so im cool)but yeah, i’d want answers! and the truth! WELL YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH! (god ive always wanted to use that in a situation similar to this) ok maybe you can, so ill tell ya but if.. YOU CANT HANDLE THE TRUTH well take it as you’ve been warned if you choose to read on!

ok brace yourself open you mouth wide, (dislocate your jaw if you can) take a breath and get ready to inhale a massive dose of the goodness that fatloaf is! (and me too of course)

ok back to me being lazy.. where was i…. oh yeah lazy.. alrighty then i have no real reason for my lack of motivation to post cuz ive sure got pleanty of stuff to tell you keen readers about.. firstly as promised ill update you on the bowling with big bad bob, just to refresh i had to fill in for scott while he was away and bowl with his dad – (big bad bob) hes not really big and bad but definately a bob ;) anyway now three thursdays ago i ventured down to norwood bowl two bowl the second week of my guest appearance in scotts spot, i thought that for my final appearance i would actually turn up on time to impress bob.. impress i did.. bob nearly passed out as he checked his watch numerous times tapped it, tapped it again until finally he realised that the watch wasnt broken and that yes i had turned up early.. (usually im last.. fashionably late of course)
once the initial shock of me getting there on time was out of the way it was time to get down to business.. the team we were playing against althought good, were lacking a little on the competitive side ok really they were just scared shitless of the thought of playing me and bob. so scared that i was lucky to get away with a win on 162 but bob got belted on 130, his opponent however some how had about 50pins handicap and averaged about 180 for the night so bob lost every game.. i think, he might have won one?? this guys handicap is very controvesial.. bob came good tho even loosing his games, he shot 157 150 for the final two games helping towards team points so all was not lost. my final two games finished with 210 204 (192ave for the night) which wasnt bad in a centre i hate! during the night the old wise bob came out.. id hadn’t seen this side of bob the week before but he saved it for the last game.. i was starting to get a little loose and carefree (as i do) and our opponents were starting to pull away from us. bob clapped his hands together (he does this when he wants attention) and said in a low calm voice.. come on, time to get serious, i took this very seriously (note to all, when bob speaks, listen)and pulled my head in.. i proceeded to finish strongly and we won most of the points for that night. that was it for the bowling adventure sorry i dont have more but im sure ill fill in some where along the line sometime.

continued.. more bowling, last wednesday i turned up to village bowl, for the first time in the history of me bowling there i was early there too, upon arrival i was greeted by the lovely counter staff to be told i was playing scott, and tonight he would be late!!! well i decided that for the first game id give him a lesson in bowling! so i shot 215 at his 160 or something THE REST I DONT REMEMBER AND NEITHER DOES SCOTT!! ok the next 3 games scott decided to take the lesson id just taught him, re-structure it and proceed to teach me a new lesson in bowling, he won that night 4-1. (he was due though) pretty sure i belted him the last time we met.. but we’ll call it even for now.. really to his credit well done, bowled well mate, all is fair in love and war ;) no doubt we’ll go at it again in a couple of weeks for under 25′s (stay posted for that)

i think that brings you all up to speed of the goings on of the spencemeister. just to add to the pain you would be experiencing from knowing scott has been away for two weeks and the pain of digesting this large slice of the loaf im just going to tell you that i have now been on holiday for a week and still have a week left!! ive slept in every day and done next to nothing apart from play dune2000 (yes i know its friggin old but i like it and just got my hands on it) and slept, oh and slept some more.

with that ill leave you with it. enjoy your meal and dont forget to eat you greens. take care kiddies until next time.

spence
